Michelle Okere

Executive Director

Michelle Okere is a distinguished Métis-Cree professional with roots in the Red River Settlement in Manitoba and Fort Belknap Indian Reserve in Montana. She is a member of the Metis Nation of Alberta and an entrepreneurial leader with extensive experience leading organizations at provincial, regional, and national levels.

Alicia Gladue

Athlete, Coach, Motivational Speaker

Born and raised in Fort McKay, Alicia Gladue is involved in football both as a player and as a coach. Described as ambitious, bright, enthusiastic, and passionate, Alicia is Indigenous and proud! She is a part of the Fort McKay Youth Council as the communications coordinator, and attends Mount Royal University, studying Communications and Public Relations.

Lara Dixon

Student

Lara is a powerfull young leader in her community. She is President of the Education student society at the U of R, the media lead for InspirEd non-profit, and she coordinates the Indigenous sports programming for the U of R. Nurse Practitioner and Coach

Adrienne Zuck is a Nurse Practitioner with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, as well as a dedicated football coach and loving mother. Learn more about her in her video!

Shyla is a 500 Hour, Trauma-Informed yoga teacher from Sioux Valley Dakota Nation in Regina, Sask on Treaty 4 Territory. She unites her knowledge of yoga & Indigenous roots in her unique offerings to create an experience that creates balance, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

Strong education professional with a Bachelor of Education (BEd), Bachelor of Kinesiology (BScKin) focused in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from University of Saskatchewan.

Caitlyn Hollywood is a dedicated Student at the University of Regina, persuing a bachelors in nursing. She is a talented athlete playing on the university of Regina soccer team and flag football team.

Lori Campbell, a proud Two-Spirit member of the Montreal Lake Cree Nation and a representative of Treaty 6 territory, is a distinguished advocate for social justice and equity in the field of education. With a profound commitment to amplifying Indigenous voices, Lori has dedicated her career to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments.
