Youth Mentorship Program

Provides one-on-one individualized support for youth between the ages of 6 and 18 who are involved with the Ministry of Social Services by matching them with a positive adult role model to engage in fun, educational, and recreational activities in the community. Helps youth enhance their identity, improve their self esteem and self worth, as well as establish life, coping and social skills. Call 306-525-0521 and ask for a Youth Mentor Supervisor.

Rooted Connections Youth Mentor Program 

The Youth Mentor Program at Rooted Connections Family Support Services is designed to provide young people with the guidance, support, and positive role models they need to navigate the challenges of adolescence and early adulthood. Our program matches youth with caring and dedicated mentors. The youth and their mentor spend time together developing a meaningful and trusting relationship that helps the youth enhance their identity, improve their self-esteem & self-worth as well as establish life, coping and social skills.

Big Brothers and Sisters Saskatchewan

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Regina, and satellite agencies in Weyburn and Moose Jaw, work together to ignite the potential of young people through life-changing mentoring relationships. Guided by a shared mission and vision, each agency tailors its programs to meet the unique needs of its community, ensuring funds raised locally stay local to directly support youth in that area.

This is a free textbook designed and for Indigenous people, offering detailed information on various financial topics such savings, credit, insurance, purchasing, and investing. It incorporates Indigenous experiences and perspectives providing explanations and strategies tailored to empower Indigenous individuals to thrive.

We are a non-profit charity of dedicated individuals with a shared vision of a world where ALL youth can access essential services to aid positive development. Providing indigenously guided wrap-around services is our way to help heal the traumas our youth are dealing with on a daily basis.

Nēwo-Yōtina Friendship Centre

Providing social-based programming for urban Indigenous and non-Indigenous people and families while serving as a focal point for the urban community to gather for a variety of community functions and events.

Regina Youth Hub - Homebase Saskatchewan

This location has created a youth-centered space that stewards relationships between youth, community, and caregivers. We aim to create a space for young people aged 12 – 25 to feel safe while seeking support, and attending programming hosted internally and by community partners. Youth will be able to access services facilitated through a trauma-informed, community-focused lens. Participants will also have access to snacks, a public phone, free Wi-Fi, and computers.

Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurship Camp

The Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurship Camp, hosted at the First Nations University of Canada – Regina Campus, is targeted toward Indigenous Youth in grades 10 to 12. We also accept applicants who just completed high school.

Saskatchewan Indigenous Cultural Center

The Saskatchewan Indigenous Cultural Centre exists to protect, preserve and promote the languages and cultures of the eight language groups of what is now known as Saskatchewan: Plains Cree, Swampy Cree, Woodland Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakoda and Lakota.

Culturally Diverse Programs - John Howard Society

The John Howard Society provides various culturally informed programs, such as outreach, advocacy, and mentorship for Indigenous youth.

Indigenous Youth Embassador Program

The Indigenous Youth Ambassador (IYA) Program is an immersive cultural and tourism education program that teaches the foundations of business, through the lens of an Indigenous cultural centre in Whistler BC. This ten-week paid training includes placement in the Food & Beverage, Retail, and Cultural Departments. We provide a safe space for students to gain confidence, skills and work experience, while discovering their personal strengths and interests.

YWCA

YWCA Regina offers many community programs and educational courses for all ages. Our programs cover topics such as healthy relationships and healthy masculinity, gender-based violence prevention, mentorship and leadership building, self-esteem, key life skills and much more.
