Imagineur: The Canadian Program for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Modules

Become an Imagineur. This free, groundbreaking program gives you the tools to tap into your creativity and unlock your potential. Each module takes about 20 minutes to complete and is jam-packed with information, tools, and transferable skills that employers love. We have unique content focused on women and Indigenous entrepreneurship to help amplify these important voices in today’s business environment. This program proudly makes learning easy, accessible, and free for anyone who’s ready to learn.

Indigenous Female Entrepreneurship Fund

Presented by LNG Canada, the fund is available to Indigenous women-owned businesses that have faced systemic barriers in accessing lending opportunities. Administered through CCIB’s Tools for Indigenous Business (TIB) program, it aims to enhance Indigenous entrepreneurship by providing access to development resources and networking opportunities.

IWE Female Indigenous Entrepreneurship Program

The IWE program was developed in partnership with Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association (NACCA) and is a crucial step to ensuring Métis women have access to equitable services. CCDF’s goal for IWE is to assist Métis women in overcoming these barriers by providing them with the support structure to enable them to achieve their business dreams and close the gender gap. CCDF can help more Métis women in business because of dedicated staff, training, networking, and mentorship opportunities and provide a micro-loan-grant for part-time, home-based businesses

Money moccasins free online life skills and finance coaching

Free online courses Money Moccasins- momentum presented by Indigenous Financial Empowerment Facilitator Theodora WarriorHealy. The program uses a combination of storytelling and knowledge sharing that is a common way for indigenous people to learn from each other. In this case they sit together and talk about finances and gain financial empowerment that a lot of people have not had access to before. Participants who attend all five workshops (Assets, Budget, Banking, Credit, and Consumerism) receive a certificate of completion that can be applied to their credit report.

NWAC ISET Program for Indigenous women

The NWAC Indigenous Skills and Employment Training (ISET) program supports Indigenous women in all their diversities including First Nations (status and non-status), Metis, and Inuit on a path toward meaningful training and employment. Whether living on- or off-reserve, in rural or remote communities, or in urban centres, clients can access individualized guidance and supports. They provide funding to help reduce barriers to skills development and move clients toward sustainable employment. The NWAC ISET Program is about empowering Indigenous women to pursue their career goals, strengthen their economic well-being, and create the future they envision for themselves.
